Growing up, food was always at the center of everything.

Whether it was family, friends, or neighbors, there always seemed to be room for one more. I watched my grandma and my aunts build a life through food, and those moments shaped the way I think about hospitality and community.

In 2016, Panda and I started MFK with one simple goal: to share the food we grew up with and create a place where people could gather over a great meal.

Every family has their own version of Filipino food. These are ours. Some dishes stay close to what we grew up eating, while others reflect the people, places, and experiences that have shaped us along the way.

No matter what's on the menu, the goal will always been the same: to create a place where people feel welcome, enjoy a great meal, and leave happy, full, and glad they came.
